This 3 bedroom, 3 bath Southern Shores beach house has been recently remodeled and refurnished, and includes a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry room with washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board, and a large family room that has a large screen TV (32 inch), VCR, DVD, stereo, video and book library as well as games and puzzles, for those times when you are not lounging at the beach or sightseeing. All rooms have ceiling fans, central A/C, and the cottage is equipped with CATV and a total of four TV's.
There is a covered deck in front and a sun deck on the rear of the cottage. There is plenty of room for the kids to play in this 1/2 acre lot. There is also a playground and basketball hoop 1 1/2 blocks from the cottage.
Shore Delight is ideal for couples with children. There is a portacrib, highchair, booster chair, umbrella stroller, child gate, and a wagon to transport to the beach for your convenience. It is a ranch style home so it is ideal for couples who don't want to climb those steps.
Some of the sightseeing attractions available in the area are: Roanoke Festival Park, The Lost Colony, Elizabethan Gardens, Elizabeth II Historical Site, Fort Raleigh National Historical Site, Wright Brothers National Memorial, Jockeys Ridge State Park, North Carolina Aquarium, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Currituck Beach Lighthouse, Corolla Wild Horses, and The Whalehead Club. It is also only a short distance to local golf courses and fishing from the surf as well as that deep sea fishing trip.
Linens are provided as well as a free departure cleaning.
