The newly furnished house is situated in the village of Hammam Sousse. It is in a quiet street on the outskirts of the village. It is a large two-story house, ideal for a large family or two families sharing (sleeps 8). The house is a 10 minute walk from the beach, and 2 minutes from the local shops. The house has 3 double bedrooms and one single bedroom with facilities to sleep in the lounge area if required. The house benfits from air-conditioning and heating. The house has two bathrooms one with a bath, shower and toilet the other with a toilet and shower. The kitchen has a 3 ring gas hob, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, electric kettle and all cooking utensils. There is a spacious roof terrace with a balcony, and brick barbecue for those long sumer evenings. The Town of Hammam Sousse is situated between the Picturesque resort of Port El Kantaoui and the Vibrant city of Sousse. Transfers to and from the airport can be arranged for an additional fee if required.
The friendly village of Hammam Sousse is situated between the vibrant city of Sousse which has something for everyone: a wide stretch of golden sand, cosmopolitan cafes and restaurants,lively nightlife and historical sights of interest, and the picturesque resort of Port El Kantaoui, a quieter resort build around a picturesque marina combines the andalucian charm of arches, cobblestone streets and lamp lit quays with a modern bustling commercial area. Local buses and taxis are cheap and readily available. There is a wide selection of cafes, restaurants and take-aways in Hammam Sousse along with miles of golden beach.
Sousse is 5km and Port El Kantoui is 3km away from the house. When visiting don't miss the view over Sousse's bustling medina from the battlements of the Ribat, a 9th century fort that is the towns oldest Islamic monument or a trip out to sea on one of the elaborate wooden pirate galleons that are moored in Port El Kantaoui.Less than an hour away inland is Kairouan, one of the holiest cities in the Islamic world and he heart of the Tunisia's colourful carpet industry. The spectacular 3rd century Roman amphitheatre at El Jem where gladiators once fought bitter contests also shouldn't be missed.
