Michigan is noted for its beautiful peninsulas, pristine waters, and spectacular shorelines. People often refer to the shores along Lakes Michigan, Huron, Erie, and Superior as the “third coast.” To recognize the beauty of Michigan and its natural resources, the National Park Service has three National Parks in Michigan.
Michigan, the Great Lakes State, is the perfect state for a road trip. Michiganders and visitors to the State can drive around Lakes Superior, Michigan, Ontario and Huron shorelines-see Circle Tours to the right. They also can go on specialty tours fishing, wine tasting, camping, gaming, or cruising. |
